Creating & marketing iphone apps
There are lots of guides out there that can show you how to get started in the industry but they all presume you’re a programmer, so the effect of this is that a lot of possible good apps just aren’t getting produced because people are put off by the idea of having to learn a lot of code. So if you’re determined to get into the app development industry but you’re not willing or are afraid to get to grips with the technology to produce apps then what is the solution?
Simple, outsource it.
By employing an app developer you can get your app developed without the need to do the hard work yourself, just put your ideas down on paper with some rough drawings of how you would like the app to look & the developer will do the rest for you. Apps like the ifart took only about ,500 to develop from scratch & in one day alone on the app store made ,000 giving the apps owner Joel Comm a great return on investment in a short period of time.
What if you don’t have that kind of money to stump up for the developer but you still want to develop an app of your own? Well a solution to this problem can be found by visiting my website http://www.simon-templeton.co.uk & this solution will have you putting your app ideas into action at a fraction of the cost with no programming required. There are lots of reasons to develop an app as there are apps out there & while the practical apps that can have useful daily functions do make quite good money, it’s the fun apps that tend to sell the most, just look at the simplicity & popularity of the ifart app. So don’t dispair as this industry is open to almost anyone & app development is still in it’s infancy with more & more possibilities being opened up all the time as the technology progresses with the release of the ipad which will run the same type of apps as the iphone is currently running, only with the ipad the apps can just get bigger & better & have more functionality.

If, just for a chance, you decide not to follow every single game of the World Cup, I think I have just found the perfect place for you…..on your Iphone!
Last night, I spent hours on a new poker application on the Iphone and it is great!
I was always a bit cautious about playing poker in casinos or even with friends because I never really knew if I was good at it. I always wondered where all these people were training to become so good. Well, now I found the perfect tool for that my Iphone…
There are several applications worth the try, such as Poker Texas Hold’em, Absolute Poker or Zinga Poker live is excellent. You can play without spending a fortune and you can train as much as you like to become a real pro.
The best thing is that you get lots of advice and tricks and you really can improve very quickly. I did! You can also choose who to play against, real people, your friends or very realistic players.

MedTango.com has developped an iPhone version of their Medical Search Engine that is very impressive. It contains all the information that are in the web version of the web application, but totally adapted to the iPhone. Very good job from the team behind it.
Your iPhone is also automatically detected apparently, I guess the iPod Touch as well.
MedTango is also available on Android, I’ve just tested on my Google Nexus One, and it looks the same as on the iPhone.

We left our Google Nexus One charging on a desk during lunch Friday. When we returned the screen was rife with hairline cracks and a horrible purple bruise had spread across the gorgeous AMOLED touch screen.

A More Perfect Union

If you’ve ever petitioned Facebook to add a “Dislike” button to the site, you might get a kick out of a new antisocial networking site that lets your friends anonymously rag on you from the privacy of their homes. Failin.gs is currently in beta, but soon you’ll be able to hit your friends up for anonymous comments about your mundane status updates. No, it doesn’t integrate with Facebook itself (thankfully), but hopefully it’ll force you to think twice about telling everyone what you had for dinner last night.
After 30 years of the same boring design, Heinz finally wised up and redesigned its ketchup packets. Fans of fast food will be treated to a new packet that opens up on BOTH ends: the top features the same tear-off perforation, but the new bottom opens to reveal a section for dunking your fries, which happens to be one of the most popular applications for the condiment! Check out this video on CBSNews.com for more details and look for the new packets coming to fast food joints near you!

Doppelganger week!

Last week’s viral “Post your doppelganger to Facebook” meme might violate Facebook’s terms of service, but we’re featuring our own celebrity photos on today’s episode anyway…with a twist. Check out our cartoon doppelgangers above and let us know what you think: does Wilson really look like the Asian kid from “Up?” Does Jeff turn into a green-faced ogre at night? And should I seriously consider growing a goatee? Sound off by leaving us a voice mail at 1-866-404-CNET or send an e-mail to the404(at)cnet{dot}com.
