Pizza Galaxy’s new IPAD service is a high tech solution for a low tech industry’s problem: providing internet marketing to a pizza shop whose only data access might be a telephone. Designed for the independent pizzeria, IPAD works together with Pizza Galaxy’s current online ordering service and requires only a fax machine in the pizza shop to receive online orders.
IPAD works by presenting targeted advertisements on Internet search engines to people searching for pizza shops in a specific location. The ads lead potential customers directly to the pizza operators online order page, where they may register with the pizza shop and place an online order.
In early tests, IPAD provided one pizzeria with 17 new customers over a 23 day period.
“We are very excited about IPAd,” said Rudy Vener, President of Pizza Galaxy, “It provides busy pizza operators with access to the growing number of online customers without requiring them to deal with computers.”
Getting the word out to new customers has always been the challenge. IPAd now provides a new, low cost marketing tool for the small pizza operator.
Pizza Galaxy, http://www.pizzagalaxy.com, of Red Bank, NJ, was founded by the husband and wife team of Rudy and Gina Vener in 2004. The company
specializes in providing online ordering and Internet marketing services for independent pizzerias and restaurants.

As the iPad goes on sale in the NZ market, TVNZ will be releasing its iPad app.
The TV network released an iPhone app in October 2009 and this has been the Number One free news app in New Zealand since it launched last year. Critics have raved about it, one even called it better than CNNâs.
TVNZâs Digital Media team has been working on an Apple-approved iPad app for the last couple of months and its release is imminent.
âWe are initially focusing on delivering news content to the iPad â a dedicated news, weather and TV schedule iPad app is the priority, but TVNZ is prototyping a separate iPad application for the highly popular TVNZ On Demand service as wellâ, said Tom Cotter, GM of TVNZ Digital Media.
TVNZâs news iPad app will have the latest updates from ONE News, including instant access to breaking news and news video. It is packed with national, world, business, sport and entertainment news, along with comprehensive weather forecasts information, including regional forecasts and an up-to-date TV guide covering all TVNZ and free-to-air channels.
Extra functionality and features are already in the pipeline and will continue to be rolled out to the iPad and iPhone apps over the next few weeks, with a focus on video.
“The team is working with our partners to prototype the TVNZ Ondemand app which will allow users to access to TVNZâs catch-up video service on their iPads”, said Tom Cotter.

One of Steven Kopstein Real Estate’s Exclusive Listings
New York, NY (PRWEB) April 7, 2010
A New York City Real Estate firm is offering free iPads to agents and customers. Steven Kopstein Real Estate announced today that any purchaser who signs a contract to purchase one of the company’s exclusive listings will receive a free iPad at closing. Apple is known for its must-have small handheld devices; the new iPad takes Apple into a wholly different realm.
“A Free iPad for Your New Pad” is the company’s special promotion announced just 2 days after the groundbreaking product was brought to market.
Steven Kopstein Real Estate is offering a free iPad to the purchaser of any of the company’s exclusive sales listings as long as a purchase contract is entered into by May 31, 2010. In addition, an iPad will be given to a randomly selected broker who attends any of the firm’s Broker’s Open Houses in the next 2 months. A drawing will be held at the Open House.
The company, which uses all Apple technology for it’s business, is ready to give away as many apples as possible this spring.
Owner, Steven Kopstein, is a huge fan of Apple products and uses them in all aspects of his business. “I’ve bought 4 Macs and 2 iPhones over the past year – there is no doubt these tools have helped me help my customers,” said Mr. Kopstein. “New York is a tough city for real estate, you have to be innovative and quick – apple helps me achieve both of these goals and provide a better overall customer experience. I’m excited to be able to spread the iPad around so people can experience the high quality – and hopefully associate that with my firm.”

Netvibes on iPad
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) June 3, 2010
Now, the highly popular Apple iPad is on sale across Europe, Japan and Australia. Noticeably absent, however, is the lack of a built-in RSS reader to meet the needs of mobile consumers who want to keep track of their favorite blogs, websites and news on the go, while keeping in sync with their desktop RSS reader. Netvibes (www.netvibes.com), the personal dashboard publishing platform for the Web, now introduces Netvibes on iPad, the first fully featured RSS reader for the Apple iPad. Netvibes on iPad delivers the complete Netvibes desktop experience to the iPad, including a dual-view RSS and widget reader, live read/unread article syncing and Twitter–all in one mobile Web experience for the iPad.
“The biggest thing missing from the Apple iPad is a true, fully featured RSS reader. Until now, reading RSS on the iPad has been a pain point for many users who expect the same enjoyable experience they have on their desktop. Paid apps, installation hassles and feed setup, boring text only views, lack of syncing with online readers–there must be a better way,” said Freddy Mini, CEO Netvibes. “Netvibes on iPad finally gives users a truly rich RSS reader experience for the iPad, with real live feed syncing between articles read on the desktop and iPad, quick access to Twitter and thousands of useful widget applications–all for free and available instantly without any installation required.”
Available today, the alpha release of Netvibes on iPad is now available free for all Netvibes users at: http://ipad.netvibes.com. (No download is required, but since Netvibes for iPad syncs with Netvibes online reader application, a Netvibes.com account is recommended. To join Netvibes and instantly get your own dashboard and feed reader, visit: http://www.netvibes.com)
Netvibes on iPad is different from all other RSS readers on the iPad because it is synced online to Netvibes.com, the Web’s most awarded personalized dashboard and RSS smart reader. This means that users can access the same experience both on their desktop (at home or at work), and their iPad. RSS articles that are read on a user’s desktop from Netvibes.com, will also be synced and marked as read on their iPad.
This also means that users can access not just RSS feeds, but also widget applications from their Netvibes dashboard as well. After checking up on the latest news, a user can quickly check what their friends are talking about on Twitter, update their own Twitter or Facebook status, check stocks or weather–and much more all within Netvibes for iPad without the hassle of installing many different apps or switching between them. It delivers everything people need on the go on the iPad–news, blogs, Twitter, widgets–all in one place, all in one app.
Currently in alpha release, Netvibes on iPad will soon offer many more features designed to deliver the entire award-winning Netvibes.com experience to the iPad.
